I'm Kristina. I've been designing since 13, when a well-intentioned family member burned me a totally legitimate Adobe Photoshop disc they definitely did not download from a sketchy corner of the internet. (Those were the days, eh?) I even begged my parents for an architectural and interior design software to create my dream homes—unknowingly setting the foundation for my obsession with color theory, composition, and design thinking. After working at an art fabrication and interior design studio, I found myself at the intersection of graphic and interior design—two worlds I loved. But I decided to take a detour and finish my degree, graduating in the unfortunate year of 2020 from CSUN with a BA in Art and an emphasis in Communication Design. Go Matadors!
I immediately jumped into the workforce, joining the global department of AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), a leading nonprofit tackling HIV/AIDS worldwide. There, I approached sensitive topics like safe sex and women’s health with creativity and care—while keeping global cultural nuances in mind. Though the impact of my work wasn’t always visible, knowing I was helping save lives through engaging, accessible design made it deeply fulfilling. One day, my supervisor told me I should start my own company, noting my ambition and insatiable curiosity. So, I did.
After four years at AHF, I took the leap into freelancing and have since worked with the hospitality industry and small businesses to help them thrive through strategic, eye-catching design. I founded Synthesis Creative Co. as a way to channel my love for entrepreneurship and explore the evolving world of AI-driven art and design. Across all my work, I strive to push boundaries—crafting visuals and narratives that demand attention and spark genuine engagement. I merge timeless design principles with psychological insights and cutting-edge AI tools, always infusing my work with a touch of unexpected wit.
